To get started, follow these 3 simple steps:

Step 1: Install two AAA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring the plus (+) and minus (-) signs are matched as shown in the diagram. Step 2: Insert your finger into the finger chamber. Step 3: Press the power button and wait for about 5 seconds for your SpO2 and Pulse Rate readings to be displayed.

For accurate and reliable readings, keep these tips in mind:

1. Keep your finger nails short and free of nail polish. Ensure your finger is fully inserted into the chamber for proper placement.
2. Clean the finger chamber before each use by gently wiping it with a damp cloth.
3. Stay as still as possible while taking readings to avoid affecting accuracy.
4. Avoid excessive ambient infrared light which can interfere with the sensor.
5. Improve blood circulation by warming your hands and fingers if they are cold before taking readings.
6. Consult your healthcare provider before use if you have certain medical conditions such as anemia, hypotension, or hypothermia.

This pulse oximeter is designed specifically for children aged 2 and above with an animal-themed design. It is not suitable for use with newborns and infants under 2 years old.
